Host Angela Van Pelt, a 23-year-old college graduate, began podcasting in November of 2020 under the show name Big Sister Guidebook. Big Sister Guidebook shared episodes on the advice you would expect from your older sister: how to make friends, navigate drama, and college advice.

After graduating college in the spring of 2021, Angela spent a lot of time trying to find a new identity, and Big Sister Guidebook took an extended hiatus. No longer a collegiate athlete and living at home was a tough experience most 20-somethings go through post-graduation. 

Now, over a year later, Big Sister Guidebook has been reborn as Holistic Hot Girl. This rebrand offers fresh content for an older audience looking to live a healthier lifestyle. Angela provides weekly tips to help you get at least 1% better in the week ahead.
